Breath in and fill your lungs... then slowly release. Sounds simple and easy. Do it for one minute. It is amazing what a minute of breathing can do for your state of mind! Breathing exercises are the perfect time to do a face mask. So I did that too. Multitasking at its finest. I hope you will find time for you today. Just 10 minutes will do a world of good. Firmer skin ( From MK) ![]() I started getting my garden together... cleaning up the herb bed. The sage has grown so big! This winter hasn't been very cold... my daffodils are coming up! I trimmed the sage and brought it in to dry. Apparently the sage was home to some flying insects or bugs. As I was cutting the sage leaves off to dry... out came the bugs. Next time I will shake the plant a little bit more! The house smells of sage now...It only took 2 hours in the oven (170 degrees). I cut the rosemary too. The mint is going strong and I need to make mint tea. Basil is my favorite to add to salads. Once you start an herb garden you will have many favorites. 1. Herbs are great for an indoor garden. 2. I say new adventures but I really mean new projects.
This past weekend I started a new blanket. Have you ever heard of granny squares? My grandma had a colorful granny square blanket. I love granny squares for 2 reasons... 1. I can use up all my little bits of yarn. 2. The color combinations are crazy! I love playing with the different color combinations. I could call them color theory squares. The hardest part is not going to get more colors of yarn. I am supposed to get rid of yarn not buy more! It was cold this past weekend so it was the perfect time to start. I have 19 squares so far. I will connect them all together to make a very warm blanket. It is the perfect winter project. Hope you are happy and warm in your part of the world! Jennifer I have some earrings to show you!
October 8th at 7pm I will have them ready for you. There are lots of beautiful colors to bring joy to your outfit. Joy and colors go together! Have fun with the addition of fun earrings! It is time for a restart... No art fairs this year... which seems so weird...
I will just have to get the whole online thing worked out! Jewelry is so fun! I love old jewelry, new jewelry, and any type of jewelry. I have been collection since my early years. This year I am trying solid colors as well as the craft colored beads. This year has forced me to change so many things! So I guess it is time to embrace the change.
